Whether you are planning a farm, a reforestation project or land requiring ongoing management, we work with you to define the location, objectives and scope of your project and implement it with our local team.
I Want to Live in Paraguay.
Our real estate project, Viva Paraguay, supports you through the four stages of the PLAN P programme: from residency procedures and opening a bank account to acquiring your own property and establishing your new life in Paraguay.

ON THE GROUND, NOT MANAGED FROM AFAR
At Home in Paraguay.
La Rivera has been operating in Paraguay since 2010. Our projects are not managed from a distance: forestry engineers, technicians, agricultural specialists and administrative staff work directly on site, supporting the development of our land and projects.
This local presence means shorter communication channels, practical decision-making and continuous support – from initial planning to day-to-day operations.

Our Own Team
More than 150 employees working in forestry, agriculture, engineering, industrial processing, tourism and administration.

Our Own Processing Facilities
Part of the harvested timber is processed in our own industrial park, which is currently being expanded to strengthen timber processing and direct local sales.

Permanent Local Presence
Headquartered in Villarrica, Department of Guairá, with projects throughout the region and cooperation with local organisations.
EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF
From Seedling
to Sawn Timber.
At La Rivera, we manage the entire production chain, from land preparation to marketing and sales.
This reduces the number of intermediaries and ensures clear responsibilities: the team that plants the trees also maintains them, while the harvesting team is involved in the processing operations.

Land Preparation
Site assessment, land surveying and soil preparation.

Planting
Selection of suitable tree species and planting distances based on site conditions.

Maintenance
Natural fertilisation through livestock grazing and intercropping.

Thinning
Selective thinning provides the remaining trees with more space to grow.

Harvesting
Timber harvesting carried out by our own team using company-owned machinery.

Processing
Timber processing in the sawmill at our industrial park in Paraguay.

Marketing & Sales
Local marketing and expansion of direct sales from our own industrial park.
